Last weekend I was lucky enough to be invited down to Intu Lakeside for their A/W Fashion Bloggers event.
The event took place at the new Personal Stylist lounge on Brompton Walk.
We arrived to an array of nibbles and prosecco- they know the way to a bloggers heart!
Carlene Noel (@carlenenoelltd ), celebrity stylist and manager of the Personal Stylist Lounge at Intu Lakeside talked us through some of the key trends for A/W16 before we had the opportunity to gain some extremely helpful advice from her with a one on one body shape analysis. (The personal stylist service is Free at Intu Lakeside so if you need some advice or a complete overhaul of your wardrobe book your appointment now!)
I found out I am an hourlgass shape and should be wearing fitted clothes to show off my curves and waist. This might take some getting used to for me as im an avid wearer of looser clothing and all the comfort!
During the event, we also had the chance to speak to a skincare expert from Kiehls who gave us a skin type consultation and *shocker alert* i found out I’m not oily skinned like i thought, in fact I have normal-dry skin..i literally couldn’t have been more wrong! Kiehls’ products are so luxurious, we tried some of them out at the event and were kindly given a lovely selection of samples to pamper ourselves at home.
We also had our bra measurements done by a lovely lady from Victorias Secret (at least I’m wearing the right size bra!). She also brought along a variety of styles for us to look at.
We then chatted to a hairdresser from Toni & Guy who gave us advice about our hair, how to style it and colouring techniques.
