Benefit are a brand I have been buying from for what feels like forever. I always remember when I was in secondary school and a girl in my R.E class pulled out a Benetint, telling us her sister worked for the brand and how good it was. A few years later I was a complete fan.
There are few products I dislike from Benefit and they certainly know how to do a relaunch of old favourites alongside adding exciting new products.
Their newest launch has been a range of concealer including four versions of the Boi-ing classic.
I popped along to my local Fenwicks last week to have my brows done by the babes at the Bene-brow bar and they applied some of the Boi-ing airbrush concealer to me afterwards where my makeup had come off and OH MY.
When Benefit say airbrush, they definitely mean it. My skin looked ultra smooth and the colour matched me perfectly considering I’d just fake tanned the day before. I knew this would be a perfect addition to my holiday makeup bag as let’s be honest- who actually bothers with foundation when on hols? Not me! I’ll be popping this concealer under my eyes and on any blemishes while I’m away alongside a swish of bronzer and- done!
The concealer has a smooth texture and glides onto the skin without leaving it greasy which I find it’s some other concealers I use. I can’t really compare it to my Tarte Shape Tape because they both do different things. The Tarte is fab for under eye brightening and the Benefit Boi-ing is great for coverage and smoothing the skin. They have also brought out a brightening version of this concealer so if you are looking for something a bit cheaper than the Shape Tape then give Benefit a go. Saying that, it is pretty mid range so still priced at £17.50 but very much worth it.
I apply this product using a damp beauty blender (the Real Techniques Diamond blender is my fave) and a little goes a long way which is exactly what you want when you go for this kind of product.
