Highlighting, strobing, contouring and now even sandbagging  (….?!) There are plenty of crazes that hit the beauty world but highlighting is definitely one that is here to stay.  The world has gone glow mad and it’s easy to see why. Get it right and you look like a magical mermaid princess from a mystical world, get it wrong and you look, well..it’s easy to go wrong with let’s leave it at that.  I’ve tried a range of highlighters from higher end brands  (anything from Mac to Becca) and budget (such as MUA and Makeup Revolution). While the higher end ones are very good, it’s nice to have cheaper options which do just as good a job, right?  Enter Sleek Makeup and their goddess like ‘Solstice’ Palette.  With 3 powder and 1 cream highlighter this Palette has the right highlighter for everyone.   Ecliptic is the cream highlight with a golden/pink… View Post

I had a really lazy Saturday last weekend, I mean, I didn’t get out of cosy clothes and just spent the day perusing social media. Life. So on Sunday I really wanted to get up and do something a bit different. I made the husband get up with me and forced him into trying some yoga (he lasted 10 minutes). But actually, we both said afterwards how much better we felt for doing it so I’m going to do the 30 day yoga challenge and see if it’s something I get into. I’ll sort out another post dedicated to this and fill you in on the best Yoga YouTubers! Anyway, I’d seen Hannah Gale tweet about the Suffolk Food Hall a few times and as it’s only about 35 mins from us decided it would be a good place to go to get us out of the house! This weekend the hubs and I went on a glorious spa weekend in West London. Courtesy of Nectar who gave me this amazing prize, we headed off Saturday morning to the K West Spa and Hotel in Shepherds Bush. If you follow me on Twitter,  you’ll know I had a bit of a rubbish birthday from having a case of food poisoning 😷… Vom! So I was determined to feel better and enjoy this weekend! When we arrived at K West we checked in and it was time to go straight down to the spa for our treatments. We enjoyed a luxurious couples treatment with massages and dry floatation! (I had no idea what this was but it was amazing! It’s like being on a waterbed and wrapped up in heated towels….womb like!) After our treatments we went into the spa area where we enjoyed time in the sauna, jacuzzi… View Post

I’ve seen a few of these types of posts and I really enjoy reading them so I thought I’d join in! 1. I found these heels on Asos and instantly fell in love! Not to mention they are under £30 too! You can see them in my post from Sunday. I definitely need to make a huge Asos order soon…my saved items folder is overflowing!! 2. On Saturday I had a nice chill out and got back into blogging (finally). I read other blogs for inspiration and found some really lovely people to follow. Harry of course was nearby to help as always! (Along with the peanut butter Oreos which were a massive let down!) 3. My makeup mess from Saturday. I try not to wear too much makeup on the weekends unless I’m going out somewhere specific. I am loving the new Mac Waterweight Foundation at the moment, although… View Post
