I have been trying to write this post for an absolute age but honestly, my health kind of took a back seat in July which is 100% NOT okay! I struggled to eat well, exercise and generally felt run down and bleugh!  I think it was that end of term feeling, and as I’ve said before, summer term is always a busy and full on one- so now the holidays are here, I get to spend time on myself and do things I just didn’t have the energy for a few weeks ago.  Writing I am making time to do what interests me and what relaxes me, so writing and photography are right up there! “Adequate sleep is a key part of a healthy lifestyle and can benefit your heart, weight, mind and more” (Health.com)    And believe me…I love my sleep! Just ask my husband who has before cleaned the whole house on a saturday morning, hoovering and everything while I’ve been like…..zzzzzzzzz!  So why is it that as soon as I decide it’s time to sleep my brain is like ‘OH HEY, HI, LETS THINK ABOUT LIFE AND BILLS AND SOMETHING I’VE JUST REMEMBERED FROM 10 YEARS AGO!’  I have zero problem sleeping…once I’m actually asleep. You may have heard of this little thing called ‘Hygge’ which is sweeping the lifestyle world. You may also be thinking what on earth is it?  Well Hygge (pronounced hue- gah) is the danish way of living. The word roughly translates to ‘cosiness’.
