Benefit are a brand I have been buying from for what feels like forever. I always remember when I was in secondary school and a girl in my R.E class pulled out a Benetint, telling us her sister worked for the brand and how good it was. A few years later I was a complete fan.  There are few products I dislike from Benefit and they certainly know how to do a relaunch of old favourites alongside adding exciting new products.  Their newest launch has been a range of concealer including four versions of the Boi-ing classic.  I popped along to my local Fenwicks last week to have my brows done by the babes at the Bene-brow bar and they applied some of the Boi-ing airbrush concealer to me afterwards where my makeup had come off and OH MY.  When Benefit say airbrush, they definitely mean it. My skin looked… View Post

IS IT ACTUALLY SUMMER?  Who knows, one minute its so hot I feel like my face is melting and the next, it’s grey and rainy..England huh!  Either way I am ALL about that summer shopping right now. It’s two weeks until we break up from work for summer (high five teachers) and I am so looking forward to having some time to myself to refocus. In all honesty, the last few weeks have been a struggle! It has been a long term at work, and a busy one preparing all our school leavers for their next step alongside some personal worries and it has resulted in me feeling tired, worn out and a little overwhelmed at times.  BUT the holidays are in sight and we have a little trip to Kos to look forward to along with some days out planned and I’m SO READY FOR IT.  Let’s talk summer… View Post

I am your typical foodie, obsessed with food, always thinking about my next meal and always trying to be healthy and then being all like yeah this burger/pizza/insert all the food here is immense. So when I was recently given the opportunity to visit a brand new eatery at the Intu Lakeside food court I obviously couldn’t refuse. Stampede* is essentially a burger bar but what they offer in terms of food and quality makes them a cut above the rest! Firstly, their set up in the food hall is pretty special. From the bull made from metal scrap parts to the neon pink signage, you definitely can’t miss them!  Cute jars of pork scratchings on the counter Their brilliant menu consists of burgers, ribs and wings along with a pretty amazing sides selection! The burgers are grilled over charcoal for that amazing bbq taste, meaning everything is freshly prepared and… View Post

I recently got the opportunity to attend an exciting event at Intu Lakeside.  Their ‘Everyone’s Invited’ event consisted of a whole weekend of fun and entertainment.  Some of the Essex Bloggers and I got to go along and experience some VIP treatment. When we arrived we were shown to our exclusive festival themed ‘bloggers hub’ complete with mocktail bar and sweetie cart as well as demonstrations from the lovely ladies from Lush Lakeside and The Body Shop.  We were then whisked off to meet Reggie ‘N Bollie (XFactor Runners Up) who were performing on the Everyone’s Invited stage later that afternoon. After a quick hello and a cheeky photo we wished them luck with their performance and headed back downstairs for a Peachy Blinder mocktail! We had the opportunity to watch Reggie N’ Bollies performance which was brilliant and we all enjoyed singing (and dancing!) along to the songs.  We… View Post

This weekend the hubs and I went on a glorious spa weekend in West London. Courtesy of Nectar who gave me this amazing prize, we headed off Saturday morning to the K West Spa and Hotel in Shepherds Bush. If you follow me on Twitter,  you’ll know I had a bit of a rubbish birthday from having a case of food poisoning 😷… Vom! So I was determined to feel better and enjoy this weekend! When we arrived at K West we checked in and it was time to go straight down to the spa for our treatments. We enjoyed a luxurious couples treatment with massages and dry floatation! (I had no idea what this was but it was amazing! It’s like being on a waterbed and wrapped up in heated towels….womb like!) After our treatments we went into the spa area where we enjoyed time in the sauna, jacuzzi… View Post
